Vietnam state budget revenue as of Nov 25 exceeds yr’s plan: Customs
As reported by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, as of November 25, Vietnam’s state budget collection is estimated at 186.833 trillion dong, rising over 10 trillion dong (about 6%) from the end of October.
Thus, after the first 11 months of this year, the customs agency fulfilled 103.39% of the year’s estimate assigned by the government and Ministry of Finance (180.7 trillion) and achieved 95.1% of the whole year’s plan (195 trillion dong).
Of which, collection from export import taxes and special consumption tax reached 73.245 trillion dong, accounting for 39% of the total revenue and 91% of the year’s estimate, collection from VAT (value added tax) at 113.408 trillion dong (accounting for 61% and equaling to 113% of the year’s estimate) and other revenues at 180 billion dong.
In comparison with the total estimated state budget revenue in the first 11 months, collection from customs sector accounted for nearly 32%.
From October 16 to November 15, the customs agency also detected arrested handled total 2,487 violations worth 10.67 billion dong. – Vietbiz24
