Vietnam railway corp posts revenues of VND1.97T in Q3

Vietnam Railway Corporation (VRC) earned revenues of VND1.97 trillion ($101.02 million) in the third quarter of this year, up 6.1% from a year earlier.

VRC posted its production value of VND2.17 trillion during the period.

This year, it targets to raise its cargo and passenger transport capacity by 7% and 8% compared to 7.98 million tons of cargoes and 11 million passengers in 2009, respectively.

The corporation expects its revenues to grow 10% from a year earlier to VND8.22 trillion in 2010.
