At the launching ceremony, deputy minister of Information and Communications Le Nam Thang, quoted by Vietnam news agency, said the launch of fiber-optic Internet service would create a breakthrough in the nation’s e-commerce sector, helping customers hold dialogues through the Internet with high-quality sounds and images.

Thang urged the provider, the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), to ensure the service quality and meet the diverse demands of different kinds of customers.
