Vietnam Jan-Nov Retail Sales, Services Rise 18.5% to US$58.17B

Vietnam’s total retail sales and services revenue is forecast to have risen 18.5% from a year earlier to VND1075.3 trillion (US$58.17 billion) in the first eleven months of this year, the government’s General Statistics Office said.

In November, the figure is estimated at VND114 trillion, up 5.1% on-month, the GSO released on November 30.
During the eleven-month period, the trade sector has seen an on-year revenue increase of 18.5% to VND843.1 trillion, equivalent to 78.4% of the country’s sum.
The hotel and restaurant sector is estimated to have reported an on-year revenue rise of 18.6% to VND121.4 trillion and the tourism and service sectors see increases of 1% and 20.4% to VND10.2 trillion and VND100.6 trillion on-year, respectively. (GSO)
