Vietnam Estimated to Produce 2.65M Tons of Steel Ingot This Year
Vietnam’s steel ingot output is estimated to surge 20% from a year earlier to 2.65 million tons in 2010, according to an official of the Vietnam Steel Association.

The country is forecast to import 2.63 million tons of steel ingot this year, up 10% on-year, Chairman of the VSA Pham Chi Cuong said.
Steel producers in Vietnam are estimated to generate nearly six million tons of steel in 2010, up 12% on-year.
Domestic steel prices will increase slightly this year due to growing input costs such as the price hikes of fuel oil and steel ingot, Cuong noted. (Vnexpress)
