Vietnam, Egypt promote cooperation

A seminar on cooperation in agriculture, forestry and fish-breeding between Vietnam and Egypt was held in Cairo on September 26.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Diep Kinh Tan and many entrepreneurs from both countries attended the event.

This forum created the opportunity for businesses to compare notes on the types and prices of the goods. The Egyptian partners are interested in Vietnamese rice, coffee, tea and seafood which sell well in Egypt.

Diep Kinh Tan also met his counterpart Saad Nassar and introduced Vietnam’s agricultural potential including prospects of pepper, rice and seafood production.

Saad Nassar expressed his hope to cooperate with Vietnam, particularly in agriculture, scientific research and fish-breeding. – VOV
