Vietnam Disburses US$1.37B for Transport, Irrigation Projects in Jan-November

Vietnam disbursed VND25.3 trillion (US$1.37 billion) for transport and irrigation projects in the first eleven months of this year, according to the Ministry of Finance.

Of the sum, VND13 trillion was poured into the centrally-managed projects and the rest into localities’ works.

The ministry forecasts that Vietnam’s infrastructure disbursement to reach VND99.802 trillion in 2009, fulfilling 98.4% of the full-year target.

Vietnam has invested US$60 billion into infrastructure development projects since 2001. (Labor)
