Vietnam-China trade, agriculture and handicrafts fair to open in Hanoi

The third Vietnam-China trade, agriculture, and handicrafts fair will be held in Hanoi in the beginning of next month, according to a press conference by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA) here on Friday.

The third Vietnam-China trade, agriculture, and handicrafts fair will be held in Hanoi in the beginning of next month, according to a press conference by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA) here on Friday.

The week-long fair, co-organized by VCA and the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives will have around 500 booths showcasing products like handicrafts, equipments and tools for agricultural production, food and beverages, machineries, fashion and cosmetics goods, and jewelry.

Nguyen Xuan Hien, Vice President of VCA said at the press conference that the fair is part of Vietnam’s national trade promotion program for this year, aiming to strengthen ties with international partners.

Vietnamese companies will introduce unique products from companies and craft villages across the country as well as special tropical fruits at the fair, said Hien.

According to VCA, some companies from the Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Singapore will also participate in the fair.

During the fair, various seminars will also be held on exploring trade cooperation opportunities, according to VCA.- People Daily
