Vietnam Cement Sales Rise to 2.2M Tons in First Half of Nov: Association

Vietnam’s cement consumption was 2.2 million tons in the first half of Nov., rising 644,695 tons from a month earlier, the Dien Dan Doanh Nghiep online newspaper reported Tuesday, citing the Vietnam Cement Association.

The country produced 2.426 million tons of cement during the period, up 562,654 tons on month while domestic cement prices remained stable at between VND870,000 and VND875,000 per ton against the previous months.

The cement consumption in the second half of this month is estimated to keep increasing thanks to soaring demand during the construction season.
