Vietnam Auto & Petro 2010 to Open in HCM City June 23-27

The 14th means of transport and petro show (Vietnam Auto & Petro 2010) will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from April 23-27 with the participation of a large number of domestic and foreign auto producers and distributors.

New auto models of Vinacoalmin, Huyndai, Isuzu, Mercedes-Ben, Audi and Volskwagen, as well as touring and specialized cars of Kamaz, Kraz and Scania will be introduced in the five-day show.

To date, 200 auto makers and distributors from Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Germany and Italy have registered to display their products in the exhibition.

Local car makers sold 9,298 vehicles last month, falling 16% from March 2009 and raising the three-month figure to 21,289 units, down 2% on-year.
