Vietnam Architecture Exhibition 2010 opens in HCM
Vietnam Architecture Exhibition 2010- VietArc 2010 opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM City on June 3, drawing 120 participants involved in architecture, building materials, construction technology and real estate.
A majority of the businesses registered for at the exhibition are architectural firms from Vietnam, the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Spain, France, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Switzerland, China, Thailand, Monaco, Canada, and Malaysia.
Approximately 100 the best architectural designs were selected for the exhibition which will also feature an international architectural forum with the theme “For a Vietnamese Architectureâ€. The forum was attended by 7 renowned Vietnamese and foreign architects who gave presentations on the future of old and new urban areas in Vietnam and several high-profile architectural projects in Hanoi and HCM City.
Chairman of the Vietnam Architects’ Association Nguyen Tien Van said the exhibition provides a neutral venue in which domestic and foreign architects and developers can share their ideas and experiences.
The exhibition, sponsored by the HCM City Architects’ Association and the Gia Phuc Media Joint Stock Company, will run until June 6.
