Vietnam adds iron ore mine in Tuyen Quang to exploration planning

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has agreed to add an iron ore mine in the northern province of Tuyen Quang to the national exploration, processing and use planning till 2010 and a vision for further development by 2015.

The area covers 64.09 hectares in Lien Thang commune, Son Duong district, the government said.

The deputy PM assigned the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to work with other agencies to grant the exploration licenses.
