Vietnam’s SMEs optimism level ranks 2nd in the world

The optimism level of Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) got 156 out of 200 points, ranking 2nd in the world, after Saudi Arabia.

This information was announced by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) through its global survey on SMEs’ optimism level, on January 20.

60 percent of the surveyed enterprises said Vietnam’s economy would continue to grow in the next six months.

The survey shows that the optimism level decreased in developed markets while it increased in the emerging ones.

The survey is carried out every two years by the HSBC, and this time covered over 6,300 businesses from 21 countries. – VOV
