Vietnam’s ICT Awards ceremony to be held

Vietnam’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Awards 2009 ceremony will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on March 20, broadcast live on VTV1.

The event aims to honour organisations and individuals that have made excellent achievements and effective contributions to the cause of IT application in Vietnam.

The annual ceremony, the second of its kind, has been organised by the Ministry of Information and Communication. According to the organising board, there have been 80 profiles for candidates to enter the final round of selection.

One particularly special prize will be delivered to an IT training centre for handicapped people.
