Vietinbank finalises share issuance for IFC


Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank-CTG) has lately announced that it successfully issued 168,581,013 shares to two foreign institutions and earned nearly 1.686 billion dong from the share issuance.

In details, from January 25 to March 10, CTG issued 55,285,714 shares for International Finance Corp (IFC) and 113,295,299 shares for IFC Capilisation Fund.

After the share issuance, CTG hiked its chartered capital to 16.858 trillion dong, of which, IFC holds 3.28 percent stake or over 55.28 million shares and IFC Capilisation Fund holds 6.72 percent stake or over 113.29 million shares into the local lender.

According to the previous information, CTG sold its stake to two aforementioned partners at the price of about $186 million, equaling to 22,000 dong per share.
