Vietbuild Hanoi attracts construction businesses

As many as 500 businesses have registered for participation at an international construction exposition (Vietbuild Hanoi 2011) scheduled for March 23-27.

This information was released by the Centre for Information Technology and Communication (CITC) Director, Dang Kim Giao, under the Ministry of Construction at a press briefing in Hanoi on March 18, saying the figure represents an increase of 21 percent over the same event last year.

The participants, including 106 foreign businesses from 18 countries and territories and 137 joint ventures with foreign partners, will build 1,350 pavilions to display their products, covering construction, building materials, property and interior décor.

Awards ceremonies will be held on this occasion to honour quality products and leading trademarks.

Organisers will also convene workshops on new products and environmentally friendly advanced technologies in the construction industry.
