US firm to help boost green technology and designs

US-headquartered AECOM Technology Corporation last Thursday signed two memoranda of understanding with HCM City’s Department of Science and Technology to promote sustainable development.

The corporation provides architecture, engineering, construction, operations and management support services.

Under the first MoU, the two partners will share information on green technologies and designs, and best practices and techniques to promote sustainable urban environments.

The second MoU outlines AECOM assistance in the construction of the department’s office building project at 244 Dien Bien Phu Street to meet environmentally-friendly Lotus accreditation standards.
