US billionaire eyes to invest in Vietnam’s realty market

Promoter of US-based Shidler Group, Jay H.Shidler said he would be seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam’s real estate where the market remains at high potentials for long term investors, the Thoi Bao Kinh Te Saigon newspaper reported.
Office buildings and warehouses are the fields Shidler Group eyes to invest in Vietnam in 2 years through partnering with domestic firms, he noted. However, he did not reveal how much total estimated capital will be invested because it depends on cooperation scale by that time.

As he explained, these are two favorite investment fields because the firm has many advantages in segments of office buildings and warehouses.

Shidler Group invested in the first office building in Hawaii in 1972 and total property investment portfolio of the group has been risen to 2,000 projects in US and Canada. – Vietbiz24
