UK firm builds $30 mln shoes plant in Tien Giang

The Freeview Industrial Vietnam of the UK Saturday launched construction of a US$30 million leather shoes factory in Chau Thanh District in the southern province of Tien Giang.

The Freeview Industrial Vietnam of the UK Saturday launched construction of a US$30 million leather shoes factory in Chau Thanh District in the southern province of Tien Giang.

The factory is scheduled to be operational in early 2011 to produce leather shoes and sport shoes’ parts. It will provide jobs for 5,000 local workers in the first phase and 10,000 workers in the second phase.
