Tunnel construction technology discussed

A conference on tunnel building technology was held in Ho Chi Minh City on January 20 by the Ho Chi Minh University of Transport and the City’s Bridge, Road and Port Association.

At the event, Vietnamese scientists and foreign experts introduced latest technologies from around the world.

They also proposed many ideas on the current design and construction of the underground network in Hanoi and HCM City.

Vuong Hoang Thanh, Vice Director for the Management of Investment in urban traffic works in HCM City, told the conference that in the future, the application of tunnel building technology will become popular in Vietnam.
