TISCO raises wholesales steel prices by VND200,000/ton

Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel joint stock Corporation (TISCO) raised wholesale prices of steel by between VND100,000-VND200,000/ton to between VND15.6-VND16.65 million/ton

Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel joint stock Corporation (TISCO) raised wholesale prices of steel by between VND100,000-VND200,000/ton to between VND15.6-VND16.65 million/ton ( excluded VAT) on March 14, the online newspaper CafeF reported on March 16.

This is the third time the company has raised the steel prices since the beginning of this month with an average increase of VND300,000/ton each.

Vietnam Steel Corporation has also raised the wholesale prices up to VND2 million/ton from the beginning of this year.

The Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) said that domestic steel prices are likely to continue increasing in the coming time due to higher world prices of steel material. – Stoxplus.com
