Thailand keen on Vietnam gas market

Thailand PTT International Company has expressed interest in purchasing shares of the PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas), said president of PTT International, Chitraphongse Kwangsustith.

The company is studying the PV Gas’s bidding plan and will take part in bidding in the future.

PV Gas plans to sell 15-20 percent of its shares to foreign strategic partners to mobilise a capital of US$600 million.

Other private companies keen on the bidding include the US’s ConocoPhillips and the Indian Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. – VOV
