Thai Hoa Group estimates to reach Q1 export turnover of $27m


Nguyen Van An, chair of management board cum general director of Thai Hoa Vietnam Group Joint Stock Co (coded THV) announced that the company targeted to export 7,000 tonnes of coffee in the first three months of 2011, of which 4,500 tonnes of high-quality Arabica coffee. Thanks to extremely high coffee export price, the group expected to gain about $27 million of export turnover in Q1 only.

The company has lately submitted documents to the State Securities Commission (SSC) to register for purchasing 4 million THV-coded shares to raise the company’s holding rates from 41.36 percent to 48.64 percent of current chartered capital. The transactions are expected to last from March 4 to April 30, 2011.
