Techmart Quang Nam 2011 attracts 200 stands

The fair contributes to forming and developing the scientific and technological market in South-Central and Central Highland regions.

The Technology and Equipment Fair for the South-Central and Central Highland region (Techmart Quang Nam) will take place in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam province from July 19-22. There will be a total of 200 stands displaying new technologies, equipment, software solutions and different kinds of products and services.

At a press conference in Hanoi on May 6, Ta Ba Hung, Head of the National Agency for Science and Technology Information said Techmart Quang Nam will create a bridge to closer cooperation between scientists and producers in improving technology and competitiveness in the process of international economic integration. Businesses will have the chance to introduce new products and equipment, as well as scientific and technological advances.

The focus of attention will be on bio-technology for sustainable agricultural development and environmental protection to assist farmers in husbandry and cultivation.

During the fair, there will be seminars on science and technology in service of socio-economic development in the region. – VOV
