Techmart Hanoi 2010 to open in September

Hanoi’s Technology and Equipment Fair 2010 (Techmart Hanoi 2010) will be held from September 23-26.

Techmart is expecting to have almost 300 pavilions, including 30-50 from overseas companies. Businesses taking part will be showcasing products in the fields of manufacturing, automation, information technology and electronics-telecommunications, agro-forestry and seafood processing, environmental treatment, tourism, service, health care, education and urban planning.

There will be a special area for students who have creative ideas about science and technology and also an area for organic vegetable production and food safety.

The fair is expected to attract domestic and foreign banks that will provide businesses, organisations and individuals with access to funds for scientific and technological development.

Techmart Hanoi 2010 will be jointly hosted by the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Assembly’s Committee on Science, Technology and the Environment to promote the government’s project on developing the technological market.
