Stock market keeps downward trend March 22


Closing the trading session today March 22, the VN Index slipped 3.45 points or 0.74 percent to 464.8 pts meanwhile the HNX Index dropped another 1.67 points or 1.76 percent to 93.17 pts.



On the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC), there were 150 gainers and 79 losers while on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the respectively figures were 187 and 100.



Notably, some key stocks such as BVH, PVF, HCG and VCB made significant contribution to the rally of the stock market.



On the southern bourse, the total trading volume including matching order trade and negotiation transactions reached over 35.89 million shares valued at over 805.21 billion dong, falling 12.62 percent in volume and 5.89 percent in value from the previous session.



On the northern bourse, the total market trade reached 37.48 million shares worth over 604.33 billion dong, falling 15.85 percent in volume and 15.75 percent in value day on day.
