Stock market goes down March 24


Ending the trading session on March 24, the VN Index returned to fall 6.32 points or 1.35 percent to close at 461.32 pts and the HNX Index also slipped 0.83 points or 0.88 percent to 93.28 pts.



On the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC), the total trading volume including matching order trade and negotiation transactions reached over 26.1 million shares valued at over 584.34 billion dong, falling 20.47 percent in volume and 25.35 percent in value from the previous trading session.



On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the total market trade reached over 32.3 million shares worth over 494.48 billion dong, rising 11.29 percent in volume and 8.48 percent in value day on day.



At the time of closing the trading session, the southern bourse saw 83 gainers and 139 losers and the figures were 123 and 149 on the northern bourse respectively.
