Steel producer sets targeted profit of 95.6b dong


Vietnam Italy Steel Joint Stock Co (coded VIS) has lately released the 2011 targeted year plan with total revenue of 2.895 trillion dong, after tax profit of 95.6 billion dong, declining by 7 percent and 34 percent respectively over the previous year.

VIS is also expected to pay dividend at 15 percent this year.



In 2011, the company will focus on raising the capacity of its steel mill to 450,000 tonnes per year.



Last year, VIS estimated to reach total revenue of 3.105 trillion dong, surpassing the year plan by 36 percent and after tax profit of 145 billion dong, surpassing by 182 percent against the year plan.
