Steel firm posts 78.6b dong H1 progressive profit, 85pct year plan

Nam Kim Steel JSC (Nakisco) released Q2 and H1 financial reports. Accordingly, in the second quarter the firm earned 454.72 billion dong in net revenue, up 5.2 percent quarter-on-quarter, after tax profit 40.6 billion dong, 2.6 percent quarter-on-quarter. The company gained accumulative revenue of 887 billion dong, meeting 52 percent over the year plan of 1.707 billion dong, after tax profit 78.6 billion dong, equal to 85 percent over the plan of 97 billion dong.

In 2009, the firm obtained 1.4274 trillion dong in revenue and 74 billion dong after tax profit.

Nakisco recently offered three million shares to raise its capital from 200 billion dong to 230 billion dong, including 2.8 million ones for strategic partners and 0.2 million for the company’s key staff.
