Six contractors forbidden to join WB3 projects

Ministry of Transport has issued Decision No 1026/QD-BGTVT regulating about forbidding the contractors violating the tender process in some subprojects of World Bank (WB)-funded rural road project (WB3) in Thai Nguyen province.

Ministry of Transport has already approved the proposal submitted by Project Management Board No 6 for banning six contractors, including Quoc Khanh Construction Co Ltd, Thanh Hung Co Ltd, Me Linh Housing Construction and Development Co, North Chuong Duong Co Ltd and Hong Ha Production, Trading and Construction Co to participate in bidding process for World Bank (WB) – funded projects with ministry of transport as the main investor.

These contractors showed signs of violating the bidding regulations when participating in bidding sessions for some construction bidding packages in Thai Nguyen province. These projects are under WB3 programme – the second year.
