Seminar on new technologies and diverse banking services

A seminar was held in HCM City on December 9 to discuss the application of new technologies and the diversification of modern and secure banking services.

The event was co-organised by the Informatics Technology Department under the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and the International Data Group (IDG).

Thirty reports were discussed, focusing on devising orientations for banking information technologies, building banking infrastructure with advanced technologies and developing diversified banking services, such as promoting payment without using cash, risk management and security system for bank information.

An exhibition was also held during the event to introduce products of 30 local and foreign businesses operating in the IT field, information security, and banking equipment as well as the most modern services and technological solutions.
