Seminar discusses Vietnam-EU free trade agreement

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a seminar in Hanoi on March 2 to discuss negotiating a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Union.

Participants at the seminar said that Vietnam will enjoy many benefits from signing such an agreement, including a reduction in taxes on Vietnamese exports.

However, they also warned of tougher competition from international business rivals.
