Seminar discusses opportunities for Rhone – Alpes region in France
A seminar was held in Lyon in the southeastern region of France on April 7 to promote cooperation opportunities, especially economic cooperation between France and Vietnam.
The seminar was co-organised by the France-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other partners in the Rhone-Alpes region in France.
Helene Luc, President of the France-Vietnam Friendship Association, said that although political relations between Vietnam and France have developed very well, economic cooperation have not matched the potential of both countries. She said that Vietnam is the gateway for France to penetrate the Asian market in general and South East Asia in particular.
The seminar also aims to provide French businesses with updated information on Vietnam’s business environment, political institution, and legal foundation. “We selected the Rhone Alpes region because it is France’s second largest economic centre and local authorities have also want to promote cooperation with Vietnam”, Luc added. – VOV
