Seeking markets to support industrial production

The Government affirms that support industries are the foundation for the sustainable development of key industries in Vietnam.

The Hanoi Trade Promotion Centre (HTPC), the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and the Thai Reed Tradex Company signed a co-operative agreement in Hanoi on March 25 to co-organise three exhibitions on support industries in Hanoi from September 15-17, 2011.

They will include the 4th Vietnam-Japan Supporting Industry Exhibition, the Vietnam Support Industry Products Exhibition and the Vietnam Manufacturing Expo.

The exhibitions will provide opportunities for businesses to seek partners and transfer technologies as well as for managers to assess the role and reality of the country’s support industries, and create suitable policies for the sector.

These exhibitions are part of the HTPC’s trade promotion activities in 2011 to support industries for production in Hanoi and all over Vietnam.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Nguyen Huy Tuong, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, said that the support industries will create products with high added value to support the industrial production system. – VOV
