Rubber producer reports gaining net profit of over 70b in Jan-April

The management board of Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Co (coded DRC) has lately approved the company’s business results in the first four months of this year with earned after tax profit of 70.5 billion dong.

In Jan-April, the rubber firm’s total production output was estimated at 277 billion dong, gaining revenue of 646 billion dong, and after tax profit of 70.5 billion dong.

In the last six months of this year, the company targeted to achieve 430 billion dong of industrial output, revenue of 970 billion dong and after tax profit of 85.5 billion dong.

The company planned to put into operation the radial tyre plant with designed capacity of 600,000 tyres per year. In the coming six months, DRC will complete signing consulting contracts and working out project pace, signing funding contracts and disbursement plan, as well as selecting the time to kick off the project.

In addition, DRC planned to complete the first phase of moving the rubber tyre plant, specifying in producing tyres for bicycles and motorcycles from North My An to Lien Chieu Industrial Zone by February 2010.
