Reinsurance Corp gains over 14.5b dong of dividend from capital contributors

Vietnam National Reinsurance Joint Stock Corp (coded VNR) announced that up to December 31, 2009, the corporation’s total deposit value reached 1.498 trillion dong, gained revenue from depositing activities of 154.6 billion dong, equal to 87.29 percent against 2008.

In 2009, the average deposit rates in dong were posted at 10.852 percent, and in foreign currencies of 4.86 percent. Due to low coupon rates, in 2009, VNR’s total investment value on bonds increased to 184 billion dong against the year plan of 235 billion dong.

The corporation’s total capital contribution value up to the end of 2009 was estimated at 319 billion dong. Up to December 31, 2009, the company’s total investment value in securities reached 19.86 billion dong. Among ten enterprises that VNR made capital contribution, seven firms have already paid 2009 dividend with total gained value of 14.5 billion dong.
