Quang Nam to Develop Tourism Westward

The Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said the province attracted 2.3 million visitors in the first 11 months of 2009, in which 49 % were internationals.

Mr Nguyen Dinh Hai, Director of the Department, said: “Quang Nam will focus on developing tourism westward to attract more visitors in 2010.”
Together with advantages from two world heritage sites, namely Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary, Quang Nam province will combine sea tourism, craft village tour and eco-tours to diversify its tourism products to attract more visitors.
The province will also upgrade traffic systems, improve the environment, and heighten the quality of services and tourism workers.
