PVN invests $2.35Bln overseas

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), the first one in the top 500 Vietnamese companies built on the scheme of Fortune 500, has invested $2.35 billion abroad.

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), the first one in the top 500 Vietnamese companies built on the scheme of Fortune 500, has invested $2.35 billion to explore and exploit oil and gas from Russia, Venezuela, Northern Africa countries and American countries, the online newspaper Tuoitre reported on November 28, citing PVN.

PVN invested VND283,000 billion overseas in the 2006-2010 period.

The company also estimated to raise abroad oil and gas reserve to between 10-15 million per year and exploit between 2-3 million output per year for the 2011-2015 period.
