PVI introduces Vietnamese insurance markets with Asian partners

PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corp (coded PVI) has lately participated in Asian Insurance Market Conference, held by United Insurance Brokers (UIB).

In the conference, the corporation’s representative took the chance to introduce about Vietnamese insurance market and its potentials to the attendants in the conference. UIB has updated information about energy insurance, aviation insurance and reinsurance market situations in the world, in general and in Asian region, in particular.

According to statistic released by Vietnam Insurance Association, after the first quarter of this year, PVI reported earning insurance revenue of 883 billion dong, counting for 22.3 percent of the insurance market share. As for its reinsurance activities, the company took the first position in the domestic market with Q1 revenue of 80 billion dong, equal to 31 percent of the total reinsurance revenue in the country.
