PVDrilling signs $30m contract to provide oil derrick for Petronas

PetroVietnam Drilling Services Joint Stock Corp (PVDrilling – coded PVD) officially signed a contract for providing multi-functional automatic oil derrick of PV Drilling 2 for Petronas Carigali Vietnam Co Ltd on Sep 8, 2010.

The total contract value was estimated at $30 million. The contract took effect from Sep 2010 with validity period of seven months.

Since 1998, PV Drilling has successfully provided oil drilling services for Petronas. It’s the first contract to be signed with Petronas to provide oil derrick for this Malaysian partner.
