Prudential to sell products at Techcombank outlets

Life insurer Prudential Vietnam and Techcombank have clinched a deal in which the former will send staff to the bank’s outlets in the country’s southern part to sell insurance products from 2011.

More than 30 bancassurance executives of Prudential will work at the southern branches and transaction offices to be selected by Techcombank to give customers advice on insurance products.

In return, Techcombank will have the opportunity to meet diverse needs of its customers.

Prudential Vietnam now has many forms of bancassurance cooperation comprising providing insurance to borrowers at banks, locating salespeople at banks, and training banks’ staff to sell insurance products.

The insurer has set up cooperation ties with many banks in Vietnam such as An Binh Commercial Bank, Standard Chartered Commercial Bank, Agribank, Maritime Bank, and Military Bank. – Saigon Times
