The Ministry of Industry National Institute of Mining – Metallurgy Science and Technology on Friday announced results of a survey done by An Vien Joint Stock Company at the Thong Nhat and Tho Son mines in Bu Dang District, Binh Phuoc Province.

Bauxite reserves in the province total one billion tonnes, just less than Lam Dong and Dak Nong provinces, the ministry said.

The reserves are enough to meet the requirements to build an aluminium plant in the province in 2016, it added.
