ProPak Vietnam 2010 coming soon
This is affirmation of the organizers of the 5th International Processing, Filling and Packaging Exhibition and Conference for Vietnam (ProPak Vietnam 2010) which will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from 18th to 20th March 20210.

The organizers said that thanks to the business environment which is increasingly improved, cheap labor cost and stable macro-economy and society, Vietnam has become one of the most attractive destinations of foreign investors. Vietnamese economy has been vigorously developing; the industry especially processing and packaging industry has been modernized. Numerous investment projects which are capitalized at billions US$ in food, beverage, cosmetics, medical products… express the strong development of this industry. Many enterprises active in processing and packaging industry are investing in infrastructure improvement and technology modernization towards advanced production system with high-quality products. Therefore, international exhibition organizers chose Vietnam as an ideal place to hold Propak and meet the development demands of Vietnamese processing and packaging in the period of economic recovery.
David Aitken, the managing director of the Thai Exhibition Service Company, one of the ProPak sponsors, said: “ProPak Vietnam 2010 is receiving strong assistance from Vietnamese government. ProPak is the most comprehensive and large-scaled exhibition with the most development opportunities ever organized. Through the exhibition, Vietnamese businesses can find new products and technologies in the field of processing, packaging, bottling and labeling …”
ProPak Vietnam 2010 is estimated to attract about 8,000 visitors. David Aitken stated that the interest from businesses shows the huge development potential of Vietnamese processing and packaging. He hopes that the ProPak Vietnam 2010 will help these enterprises operate effectively and gain more profit.
The turnover of processing and packaging industry accounts to 40 percent of Vietnamese plastics. According to Madame Chiong Woan Shin, the regional director for Vietnam and Cambodia at International Enterprise Singapore (IE), in 2009 Vietnam imported SGD411 million of plastic products. Therefore, Singaporean plastic companies have increasing confidence on Vietnamese market and many of them take part in ProPak Vietnam 2010.
Madame Choing Woan Shin said: “We believe that participating ProPak Vietnam 2010 will strongly promote trading co-operation between our two countries. Singaporean companies will provide Vietnamese with high-quality products at competitive price because they are in the ASEAN Free Trade Area and enjoy preferential tax.”
ProPak Vietnam 2010 is considered an important channel for Vietnamese processing and packaging enterprises promote their image, have access with potential clients, enhance co-operation, raise productivity and make big contribution to Vietnamese economy. In addition, in the framework of ProPak Vietnam 2010, a major workshop will be held by Vietnamese Association of Food Science and Technology. Through the workshop, Vietnamese processing and packaging businesses can get up-to-date information of advanced technology in food safety and environment management.
ProPak Vietnam 2010 is a globally well-known exhibition which attracts 170 international brands and suppliers from developed processing and packaging industries such as Germany, Italy, France, England, America, Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand and Singapore… To further meet Vietnamese businesses’ demands of looking for partners and market, ProPak Vietnam 2010 will be held at the time of the 3rd International Plastics and Rubber Technologies and Materials Exhibition for Vietnam./.
