Pomina aims net profit of 612b dong


The southern bourse-listed Pomina Steel Joint Stock Co (coded POM) announced to submit the annual shareholders meeting to be held on April 8 with targeted revenue of 14.4 trillion dong, after tax profit of 612 billion dong.



The company expected to pay dividend at 20 percent in 2011.



In the 2011-2015 period, Pomina planned to continue building a steel mill with designed capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year, raising the total production capacity to 1.6 million tones per year. The first phase was expected to be finished in 2012-2013.

In the second phase, Pomina will continue making investment in another production line with capacity of 500,000 tonnes, increasing the total production capacity to 2.1 million tones per year.



In the coming time, POM planned to increase the export market shares and expand its distribution network to the northern region.
