Polo Beach (HK) plans $4.5b tourism area in Ninh Thuan

The Hong Kong-based Polo Beach International Limited Co has submitted a proposal to construct a high-class Cali Beach Tourism Area in Phuoc Dinh Commune, Thuan Nam Dist to Ninh Thuan province people’s committee the. The project has total investment capital of $4.5 billion.

In details, the investor will carry out construction works on this tourism area on a total land area of 800 hectares, with the purposes of building a complex of tourism urban area, high-end resort and tourism and trading centres, an entertainment centre. Ninh Thuan province people’s committee has already approved in principle for Polo to realise this project.

Noticeably, previously, Polo Beach had proposed a similar project in Binh Thuan province. In an interview with Dau Tu newspaper, Luong Van Hai, director of Binh Thuan province department of planning and investment revealed that the project had been submitted to the prime minister for approval, but hasn’t been passed because some problems relating to surveying the black sand reserves in Binh Thuan province.

Because of the similar reason, many other projects of domestic and foreign investors have been suspended so far in Binh Thuan province.
