PET estimates to reach Q1 profit of 50b dong


Dao Van Dai, chief accountant of PetroVietnam general Services Joint Stock Corp (Petrosetco – coded PET) announced that by the end of Q1, the corporation estimated to gain profit of 50 billion dong.



The company’s main business line of distributing mobile phones, laptops and other equipment saw positive growth in the first three months of this year.



Petrosetco planned to hold annual shareholders meeting on April 20, 2011 to seek approval in 2011 business targets, including total revenue of 10 trillion dong and pre-tax profit of 220 billion dong.



In the near future, the company expected to start construction projects of 35-storey tower in Thanh Da peninsula, Binh Thanh Dist, HCM City with total commercial flooring area of over 100,000 square metres. The total investment cost for this project was over 2 trillion dong.
