Palestine seeks cooperation with Vietnam

Following Vietnam’s example, Palestine will be able to become a prosperous country, said Palestinian Minister of National Economy Hasan Abu at a meeting with Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade, Vu Huy Hoang, in Hanoi on September 22.

Mr. Abu said he believed the meeting would help both sides boost cooperation in industry and trade, infrastructure, and food production for the best of each country’s potential.

Minister Vu Huy Hoang emphasized Vietnam always looks forward to long-term cooperation with Palestine and is eager to export agricultural products such as rice, tea, coffee, seafood, and pepper to the country.

Mr. Hoang also proposed delegation exchanges and a legal framework for the cooperation of businesses from both countries.

The two ministers then signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation.
