Over 2tr dong spent on Thai Ha Bridge project

Thai Binh province people’s committee and the contractor of Construction Corp No 1 officially started the construction works on Thai Ha Bridge over Red River in Tien Duc Commune, Hung Ha Dist, Thai Binh province on October 16, 2010.

The bridge would be built under BT method (Building – Transferring) with total investment capital of 2 trillion dong. The bridge is sited in the way connecting two provinces of Thai Binh and Ha Nam with Cau Gie-Ninh Binh expressway with total length of 2,159 metres, of which the access road counted for 687 metres. The bridge has total width of 23 metres, including six lanes. The two access roads will be built under delta road standards level 2, with designed speed of 100 kilometres.

The construction was supposed to be finished in 2012.
