Over 154tr dong to be invested for HCM City’s ring road No 3 and No 4

Ministry of transport has lately approved the investment reports about construction projects of ring road No 3 and No 4 in HCM City, submitted by the Southern Transport Engineering Design and Investigation Joint Stock Co (Tedis).

According to the proposal, the Ring Road No 3 has total length of 89.3 kilometres and the Ring Road No 4 of 196.5 kilometres, running through five cities and provinces of HCM City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An.

The two projects were expected to be conducted within the period of 2010-2020 with total investment capital of 154.342 trillion dong, of which the construction cost for ring road No 3 counted for 55.805 trillion dong and for ring road No 4 of 98.537 trillion dong. These two roads will have designed speed for vehicles of 80-100 km/h with 6-8 lanes. – Dautu
