Over 1.9tr dong invested in building hydropower plants in Laos

Deputy minister of construction Bui Pham Khanh has submitted the document No 1293/BXD to Ministry of Planning and Investment seeking opinions for issuing the investment license in Laos from Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hydropower Joint Stock Co.

In details, the company has made investment outside Vietnam for constructing hydropower plants of Nam Cong 2 and Nam Cong 3 with total designed capacity of 102 MW in Attapeu province in Laos. With total investment capital of over 1.9 trillion dong, these two projects are required to have prime minister’s approval.
